“Bore” is the operative word. Philosophy is a tie for the most boring reading on earth, along with educational bureaucracy documents. The Wikipedia article:
lists some of them. I took the Sandel book out of the library, although I have yet to read it. I also got books by Mill & Bentham on my Kindle, and also the Nicomachean Ethics (Aristotle). All of these are pretty heavy going, I have to say. I think the Cliff Notes are the way to go.
